The Barren Woman
Nadia's mind was filled with joy
when she came to her land the next day. Her mother-in-law was also happy to see them. After lunch, the mother-in-law asked behind the scenes that had been
bothering Nadia for 13 long years. "When will I see the face of my
grandson and granddaughter?" His mother-in-law asked. Nadia's mind went bad
in an instant, what would she say to her mother-in-law, what would she say that no child is coming in her lap even after such advanced
treatment.
The next afternoon, Nadia went out alone to walk around the village. She did not notice that she had come so far while walking absentmindedly. Suddenly an old beggar came up to her and shook his hand, saying, "For God's sake, help me, I'm so helpless." The old man's clothes were very dirty, and his worn hands showed that he had been starving for some time.
Nadia took out all the money in her purse and gave it to the man. The beggar happily took the money and looked into Nadia's eyes and tried to understand something. Nadia was a little hesitant. Then the man asked, "Dear Young Lady, do you have any great sorrow in your mind?". Nadia was quite surprised by the words of the beggar, how did this man know the sadness of her mind! The old man said again, "Mother, you have helped me. You are a kind person. Tell me your sorrow, mother. I will help you."
Nadia wondered for a moment whether she would tell the old man that she had no children, what the old man could do to address her 11 years of infertility.
After thinking for a while, Nadia told the man what was on her mind. There is no lack of money, prestige, love in his life. But all this is worthless to her because she has no children. They did not lack any treatment but still, they did not get the chance to hear the mother's call from the child's mouth. Tears welled up in Nadia's eyes as she spoke. After hearing all this, the old beggar consoled Nadia, then took ripe guava out of his small sack and handed it to the girl and said, "Cut this guava before sexual intercourse and feed it to your husband at night. If God wills, you can hear the good news in three weeks.". Nadia took the guava in her hand with a worried face. "Let your husband eat half of the guava first and then you will eat the other part. Make no mistake lest he is ruined," said the man.
When she came home, she did not say anything to anyone. She waited for the night with joy and anxiety. Many years later his heart was filled with unknown joy again. When Shahid went to the bedroom after dinner at night, Nadia hurried to cut the guava. It was plump guava, which looked very tempting to look at. Nadia puts the sliced guava in front of Shahid and asks him to eat it. Shahid asked, "Where did you get the guavas at this inopportune time?" Nadia smiled without answering and went to close the kitchen window, otherwise, the cat might get in trouble. She took a bottle of water from the fridge and went to the bedroom. Maybe no one wants to see the scene she saw in the room, never. Nadia saw foam coming out of Shahid's mouth and his body was constantly biting. Her husband died before her eyes...
